What’s included in the Safari Tents?
Each Safari Tent includes:

Our Bell Tents include:

(One night stays, please bring your own bedding.)
Do the glamping tents stay warm?
Safari Tents have an electric heater and electric blankets.
Bell Tents have a wood burner for warmth.
However, both are canvas structures, so temperatures can drop in colder weather. Warm clothing is recommended.
Is the campsite muddy?
In wet conditions the field can become muddy.
Suitable footwear is advised.
🔥 Hot Tubs, Fires & Cooking
How does the hot tub work?
Hot tubs are self-heated and wood-fired.
One bag of wood is included; extra bags are £10 each.
How long does it take to heat?
2–3 hours.
Do the hot tubs have water jets & bubbles?
No
Can you pre-heat the hot tub for us?
Yes, £10 fee (uses your included bag of wood).
Do you provide BBQ coals?
No please bring your own coals.
Is there an oven or microwave?
No cooking is gas hob only.

Are glamping stays based on two people?
Yes, Safari Tents and Bell Tents are priced for two people sharing a bed.
Extra beds can be arranged for an additional fee.
🐕 Dogs
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Camping: £4 per night per dog (2 max)

Bell Tent: £15 per stay (1 max)

Safari Tent: £20 per stay (1 max)
Dog rules:

🐐 Animals & Experiences
Will we see the animals?
Possibly, In the winter months (Nov-Mar) they may be housed indoors.
Is animal feed available?
Yes, animal feed is available to purchase.
Do you offer animal experiences?
Yes, these run every morning. Click here for more info.
🚗 Parking & Site Access
Can we park by the tent?
Yes, the ground may be soft in wet weather.
A gravel car park is available.
Can cars drive on the field?
Yes, but please take extra care in poor weather.
📍 How to Find Us
After leaving Pickering and going over the train crossing, continue for approximately 2 miles.
You will come to Oak Tree Farm Park with a large wooden barn on your left.
The campsite entrance is immediately after the wooden barn.
If you can see the farmhouse as you drive in, you’ve used the wrong entrance and may struggle to turn around.
